‘Rocky’ the Rabbit

VINELAND, NJ 06/21/12 ‘ROCKY’ THE RABBIT 001: Nature was my first muse as an amateur photographer. I still love to take pictures of nature: animals, plants, scenery, etc. In my Media Tech Toolkit class (https://georgiaisalvaryn.com), I am learning how to take great pictures of people and human activity as well. Photography, overall, is an amazing field of work, and I hope to become a professional photographer someday.

VINELAND, NJ 06/21/12 ‘ROCKY’ THE RABBIT 002: Every spring and summer, a family of rabbits would live under our porch. Sometimes, I would see them hopping around our backyard and I would run and get my camera to take pictures. I named this rabbit “Rocky” because of his brown and grey fur. I have taken several pictures of rabbits. Whether it is a different rabbit each time or the same rabbit, I love taking pictures of these cute little creatures.

VINELAND, NJ 06/21/12 ‘ROCKY’ THE RABBIT 003: I took many pictures of “Rocky” when I first started taking pictures on my camera. I believe most of the pictures I took of “Rocky” were all taken on the same day.

VINELAND, NJ 06/21/12 ‘ROCKY’ THE RABBIT 004: When I took these photos of “Rocky,” I was able to get really nice closeup shots of him. I remember slowly inching toward “Rocky.” I was almost crawling in the grass because I didn’t want to scare him away.

VINELAND, NJ 06/21/12 ‘ROCKY’ THE RABBIT 005: Here is an action photo of “Rocky” scratching his nose. I took about seven photos of this one shot and this was the only photo that wasn’t too blurry. I’m surprised I got the shot in the first place.

VINELAND, NJ 06/21/12 ‘ROCKY’ THE RABBIT 006:  My family’s house has a few beds of rocks around the backyard. When I was snapping photos of ‘Rocky’, he decided to rest in one of the beds. It was the cutest thing, and I was happy to get close enough to get this amazing picture.
